All You’ve Ever Wanted to Know (and a lot more than you NEED to know) About the Turbo Encabulator

This one is especially for one of my old GA Tech friends, Anna Saadatjoo.

If a GA Tech engineer working for GM in Michigan can’t appreciate this…nobody can!

Bobby Jones sent me an email with a link to the “turbo encabulator” video. I’ve seen this before, but it prompted me to do a search or two on the history of it. Pretty funny, and pretty interesting.

There are several versions out there. In my humble opinion, this is the best one, the delivery is just better:

But this one has an additional segment at the end on Diagnosis & Service. Anyone who has ever been taken to the cleaners by an auto repair shop will be able to appreciate this one!

And here is the same monologue, but applied to Industrial Controls instead of Automotive.

And for a pretty interesting article on how these videos came to be, see Wikipedia:

And finally, an interview with Mike Kraft, who was in the last two videos above:

Have fun with this but remember…when someone is a little too pompus, and tries to impress or intimidate you with their “scientific” demeanor and too many $64 words, they are probably lying to you!
