I really like candidates who make it easy for voters to know exactly where they stand on the issues, so I have linked directly to the “issues” page or similar page on their web site. The link is without comment unless I can’t find a prominently displayed or at least reasonably easy to find “issues” page on their web site. If I can’t find it, I will add a comment to that effect. I usually find it a bad sign in a politician if they don’t make it easy for you to know exactly where they stand on the issues. It implies that they either don’t have their act together, or that they don’t want you to know where they stand on the issues.
