This is the best treatment of the Jessi Slaughter viral internet flame that I’ve heard. Thoughtful, compassionate, and yet tough. It puts the incident, and the dangers of the internet for children, in historical perspective. And in anticipation of those who will want to use this incident as an excuse for “Net Neutra…lity” or any other form of government control and censorship of the internet, it points out why, in spite of incidents llike this, the internet must remain free and uncensored… because the internet IS free speech.
