This is a rather long intro, but:
I am so impressed by, and respectful of black American men and women who have come up living the hard life and yet managed to see through the misrepresentations, the corrupt motivations and outright lies of the leadership of the liberal socialist left. Notice I said “leadership”; The rank and file average citizen who calls themself a liberal usually isn’t corrupt or a liar…just naive, uninformed and occasionally, just not too smart.
What perception these men and women have to see through the bankrupt philosophies that black America has been force-fed from our news media, our education system and our culture-shaping Hollywood entertainment industry! What courage and what incredible independence these men and women have to speak out against the lackey-making philosophies and policies that Jessee Jackson, Al Sharpton and a host of old-school black “leaders” have foisted on black America.
For their willingness to see the truth even when it demands sacrifice and self-responsibility, and for their willingness to speak the truth even though it sometimes means suffering the hostility and rejection of their very own black brothers and sisters (the very ones that they are trying most to help); for their efforts to transform black America from powerless, dependent “entitleist” into independent self-reliant, powerful citizens; for these things and much more….my hat is off to them.
