This kind of police aggressiveness is very, very scary to me. It is as if our society gives a person the permission to do almost anything they want to do as long as they are wearing a badge. It seems like there are very few cases that ever come to justice, and when they do, it is only after massive attempts by the guilty parties and other officers to cover the crime up.
